TGP#3 Standing in awkward group pictures

Kinda what a tall girl feels like in a group of short friends.

Being the tallest out of everyone in the group is already awkward but then having to stand in a group picture with everyone just increases that awkwardness even more.

Homecoming and school dances are a good example of this. Everyone is in heels and all dressed up but the tall girls are usually in flats and still alomost a foot taller than all the girls and half of the guys. Well, there are somethings you can do to prevent this awkwardness.

#1 If you want to wear heels think before you buy! Your heels don't have to be the highest ones in the store.. and if you have a date I'm sure he doesn't want to have to stand on this tip toes for all the pictures. #2 Ask around! See what your other friends are wearing and if almost all of them are not doing a heel then maybe consider doing something smaller too. #3 If you have the confidence to be taller than everyone and your date go for it! Nothing should hold you back from begin who you are and wearing what you want and like. If worst comes to worst you can always just take your shoes off! 

TGP #2 Did my clothes shrink or did I grow...Again.

Hello to all my tall ladies! Buying clothes is always stressful, overwhelming and frustrating for girls like us. Why is it so hard to find clothing that actually fits us? Well I don't know, but this is an outrage.

If you look at magazines all models are TALL and LONG but for some reason clothing manufactures make their cloths for girls that are SHORT and STUBBY. Yeah we might not all look like models but hellooooo? TALL and LONG over here and excuse me but I am not about to spend 45 dollars on one of your shirts that  I know will shrink down 3 sizes after the first time I wash it! Sorry I'm not sorry.

Out of any piece of clothing jeans are probably the hardest to find. I know personally I wear not a long but and XL(extra long) jean. Sometimes even XXL(extra extra long.. Not large) These sizes are very hard to find and the only place I know of where I can get jeans my size is Buckle. If your familiar with Buckle you know that its an expensive store and I'm tired of having to buy overly priced jeans just so I can get a pair that will pass my ankles.

There should be store just made for tall people, it would solve all of our problems. They have stores for people over weight so why not over long? Is that really too much to ask for? For now I guess I will just go by more Febreze and Tide-to-go's and spray my cloths until I am forced to wash them. Hello shrinkage.
